GCOTY Awards 2027
The 2027 German Car of the Year awards were presented at an evening event at the National Automobile Museum in Dietzhölztal, Germany on 22 September 2026. Award recipients included the Volkswagen ID. Polo, Kia PV5, Mercedes-Benz GLC, Xpeng X9 and Hyundai Ioniq 6 N in their respective segments, while Klaus Zellmer was named Automotive Person of the Year. Special awards were also presented to BMW, Geely, Porsche, Renault and Škoda.
